Performance
Designed for Molecular Compatibility
UBM™ nucleic acid preservation has been confirmed by comparing immediate processing with 4‑week storage, using targets such as Influenza A, Adenovirus, Staphylococcus aureus, Candida albicans, and Escherichia coli. Performance, assessed against gold standards, demonstrated consistent or improved results. UBM™ is intended for use with compatible molecular techniques, and specimens must be extracted and purified according to laboratory procedures before amplification.
Microbial inactivation
For Everyone’s Safety
UBM™ has been validated for its ability to inactivate viruses, bacteria, fungi, and yeasts, ensuring safer specimen handling, processing, and transport. By effectively neutralizing these infectious agents, UBM™ minimizes biosafety hazards during transport and laboratory processing, while simultaneously preserving the integrity of nucleic acids for downstream molecular applications.
